AIMA Japan Ordinary General Meeting, February 2008
"The AIMA Japan Annual OGM (Ordinary General Meeting) took place on Thursday, 21st February in Tokyo. This was a very informative event where the organization reviewed its 2007 accomplishments and refined 2008 goals. AIMA remains dedicated to promoting the flow of information about alternative investments to its constituent members that include Pension Funds, Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, the Legal Community, Hedge Funds and other stakeholders in the Japanese Alternative Investment Space. AIMA has a number of initiatives set for 2008 to expand the scope of its interaction with the Alternative Investment community in Tokyo for 2008."
2nd AIMA Japan Charity Jazz Concert, July 2007
"AIMA Japan are pleased to announce the broad success of our 2nd AIMA Japan Charity Jazz Concert, which was held on Friday, July 6, 2007.  We enjoyed the company of over 200 fellow group professionals and friends who enjoyed the evening atmosphere filled with great jazz music.  Many thanks to the sponsors who were generous enough with their donations of services, time and money:  White & Case, NikkoCiti Group, Reuters, Ascendant Business Solutions, HSBC, Ramius Capital Group, Fortis and Evolution Japan Advisors.  Attached is a photo of Mr Hideki Hashiguchi (AIMA Japan Chairman) and Mr Chris Wells (AIMA Regulatory Chairman) presenting a "Mokuroku" of the proceeds to Ms. Kim Forsythe of the Tyler Foundation."
